Five evidence tiers, 1 to 5
The Breath Honesty Scale
Most breathwork content treats every technique as equally proven. It is not. EYANA puts a number on every one, so you can tell the difference between what is solid and what is wishful.
Hedging is not weakness. It is what makes the confident claims credible. The Breath Honesty Scale runs from 5 to 1. A 5 means the evidence is strong and replicated. A 1 means a popular claim the evidence contradicts, the kind EYANA will not make. Every technique page carries its rating near the top.
Solid
Multiple well-designed trials or systematic reviews, replicated, consistent direction.
Promising
Multiple studies, consistent direction, with methodological limits (small samples, short duration).
Early
A single good study or small studies only. Promising but not yet replicated.
Theoretical
Mechanistically plausible, with little or no clinical trial evidence. Practitioner experience only.
Unsupported
A popular claim the evidence contradicts or does not support. EYANA does not make it.

Notice that two of the most repeated claims in wellness marketing, boosting immunity and rewiring your nervous system, sit at 1. That is not cynicism. It is what the evidence says. EYANA would rather tell you the truth and keep your trust.
EYANA is health education, not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace your physician, and nothing here is a reason to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment. If you have a heart or lung condition, read the Mogire Contraindication Framework first and talk to your doctor. If you have chest pain, fainting, or a racing heart that will not settle, seek medical care.
