Dr. Job Mogire is a board-certified cardiologist and internist at Carle Foundation Hospital in Illinois. He teaches at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. He was born and raised in Sengera village, Kisii County, Kenya, and studied medicine at Moi University. He practised medicine in Kenya for eight years. He then completed residency at the University of Kansas and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. In September 2024 he walked past an $800,000 offer to keep his autonomy, and the time to build, write and teach. He is the author of the memoir Born to Win: My Journey From Sengera To Harvard. He founded House of Mastery, a school in Nairobi that helps people finish the work that is theirs, and created KOORA: The Finisher Protocol.
