The Book Club
You read alone, but you do not return alone. One chapter a week, one conversation a month, in rooms forming all over the world.
One chapter a week, one table a month
The reading is yours to do at your own hour. The gathering is where it becomes a conversation. The two move on a steady beat you can plan your month around.
A chapter arrives
The Year of Return Letter lands Saturday morning with that week's chapter. You read it over the weekend and mark your reflection on the page.
The club meets
Once a month, the second Saturday, the club gathers to sit with the four chapters of that month. One person from the community leads each chapter, so four voices carry the conversation, not one.
Your reflections and your questions
You arrive with what the chapters surfaced: the Mirror you answered, the checks you marked, the question that would not let you go. Nothing to prepare beyond your own honesty.
The book never closes
Every chapter stays on the site. Join in month seven and read the first half at your own pace. No one is behind.
A room in your part of the world
Clubs form wherever readers are, Nairobi, Kampala, London, Houston, anywhere two people decide to walk together. The second Saturday is the shared anchor. A local club may choose its own day and hour, whatever lets its people actually show up. Same chapters, same season, different rooms.
The conversation belongs to the room
Each month, four readers lead, one for each chapter. Leading is not teaching. You open the chapter, name what it surfaced in you, and let the room speak. It is how a reader becomes a guide. If you want to lead, you say so, and a chapter is yours.
For the ones who go further
The book club is the doorway. For readers who want more than a monthly table, the path continues into smaller, deeper rooms.
