A Mirror

Read each question slowly. Sit with it before writing. These are not questions to answer quickly.

Question 1

What is your body's current earliest signal that something needs attention? Not the crisis signal, but the whisper before the whisper. Name it specifically.

Question 2

When in your history did you last override a clear physical signal and continue? What did you tell yourself that made the override feel reasonable? What was the cost?

Question 3

Is the body signal you are currently experiencing (if any) a whisper, a vote, or a veto? Be honest.

Question 4

What would you need to believe differently to treat your body's whispers as information rather than interruptions?

Weekly Practice

Read one of these each morning this week. Before the phone.

Day 1 I noticed my body trying to make me stop.
Day 2 I named the limit I have been overriding.
Day 3 I said stop before my body said it for me.
Day 4 I treated a symptom as a message, not an inconvenience.
Day 5 I let exhaustion be information, not weakness.
Day 6 I honored the intervention instead of pushing through.
Day 7 I am willing to stop before I am stopped.
